Certification is when an accredited third party such as NIOSH Certification Sdn Bhd (NCSB) visits an organisation, assesses their management system and issues a certificate to show that the organisation abides by the principles set out in the standard, so following industry best practice.

MS 1722 : 2005 / OHSAS 18001 : 2007 Occupational Safety & Health Management Systems.

This Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) specification gives requirements for an occupational health and safety (OSH) management system, to enable an organization to control its OHS risks and improve its performance. It does not state specific OHS performance criteria, nor does it give detailed specifications for the design of a management system.

ISO 14001 : 2004 Environmental Management System

The general purpose of this International Standard is to provide assistance to organizations that wish to implement or improve an environmental management system and thereby improve their environmental performance. This International Standard is consistent with the concept of sustainable development and compatible with diverse cultural, social and organizational frameworks and system of management.

This International Standard can be used by organizations of all types, sizes and levels of maturity, and in all sectors and geographic locations. The special needs of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are incorporated, and this International Standard accommodates their needs and promotes their use of an environmental management system.

ISO 22000 : 2005 Food Safety Management Systems.

ISO 22000 : 2005 is an international certification standard that defines the requirements for effective food safety management systems. It can be used by organizations throughout the supply chain-form farmers and ingredient suppliers, to food services, processors, transportation and storage companies, retailers and packaging companies.
