NCSB Background

During the 6th Conference of OSH (COSH) on 14-15 July 2003, Human Resources Minister, who officiate the conference, has stated that NIOSH has performed its role in full commitment and dedicated for the past 10 years in the area of developing OSH in Malaysia. According to him, it is now the right time for NIOSH to move forward by conducting certification activities (accepted international) for companies which has successfully implementing OSHMS. Companies expose to the globalization phenomenal require official certification to increase their competitiveness at international level.

However, NCSB does not confine it’s services only to OSH-related certification but also covers other standards such as Quality, Environment and Food Safety (HACCP).
